Tip of the Day #1: Use Paint Chips for Wedding Planning Unsure about where to get started with design and decor planning for your wedding?  Look no further than your local hardware store.  One of the best tips I have ever received with regards to planning the design of an event is to pick up a handful of paint chips to develop a color palette for every design element at an event.

Hardware stores have floor-to-ceiling paint chip displays featuring every color under the rainbow.  Paint chips are free to take from the store (read: experiment with many different color combinations and tones).  Paint chips are also easy to transport in a binder or folder for floral and event design meetings so they can also help to keep your vendors on the same page with the look and feel of your event.
